Eraser Sketch is a fun twist on ordinary drawing apps.
Draw with erasers (instead of paint) to remove the fill color and reveal the background patten underneath.  Change background patterns to change the pattern revealed when you erase, just as you would change paint colors.
You can also draw with paint in the app too, and there are 35 paint colors.  If you select a paint color the same as the fill color, think of it as an eraser in a regular drawing app.

To begin, select a fill color and a background then press the start button to begin your drawing!

To change the fill color:
On the main menu, press the "Change Fill Color" button, then select the color you want.  If you do not want to use a fill color, then press the "None" button.
Note - Fill color cannot be changed without exiting to the main menu and starting a new drawing.

To change the background:
On the main menu, press the "Change Background" button, then select the background you want.
To use a photo as your background pattern, press the "Photos" button, then select the photo you want.

To begin drawing:
Press the "Start!" button.
Once the start button is pressed, the drawing area appears.
Move your finger where you want to erase and paint.

Paint Mode & Erase Mode:
The drawing area begins with eraser mode on.  To switch to paint mode, press the "Paint" button.  To switch back to eraser mode, press the "Erase" button.

To hide the buttons on the screen:
Press the "Hide" button.  To show them again, press the "Show" button.

To save your drawing:
Press the "Save" button.  The drawing will be saved to your photo library.
Note - Drawings are not saved until the save button is pressed.

To clear the screen:
Press the "Clear" button.
Note - Clearing the screen will refill the current fill color.

To exit to the main menu:
Press the "Exit" button.

When in eraser mode-
To change the eraser shape:
Press the "Eraser" button, then select the eraser you want.

To change the eraser size:
Press the "Size" button, then select the size you want.

To change the background:
Press the "BG" button, then select the background you want.
Note - Think of backgrounds as paint.  When the background is changed, draw with erasers to reveal it.  You wont see the new background until you use erasers to reveal it.  If a fill color is not used, and the background is changed, the current screen becomes the fill color, and erasing reveals the new background just as with a fill color.

When in paint mode-
To change the brush shape:
Press the "Brushes" button, then select the brush you want.

To change the brush color:
Press the "Color" button, then select the color you want.

To change the brush size:
Press the "Size" button, then select the size you want.

To change the background:
Press the "BG" button, then select the background you want.
Note - Think of backgrounds as paint.  When the background is changed, draw with erasers to reveal it.  You wont see the new background until you use erasers to reveal it.  If a fill color is not used, and the background is changed, the current screen becomes the fill color, and erasing reveals the new background.
Paint mode will still be on when the background is changed while in paint mode, simply press the "Erase" button to switch to erase mode.
